What Should I Consider Before I Buy a Furnace?
Buying a new furnace is a lot like buying a new car, appliance or piece of furniture—before you can choose the one that makes the most sense for your situation you need to consider a few things first . Equipment costs, operating costs, replacement costs, equipment size, budget, availability and home comfort priorities are just a few important considerations.

And for added peace of mind, don’t forget you can rent your heating equipment from Reliable Home Comfort. Renting means relaxing because you never have to worry about unplanned service, repair or replacement costs. Plus, in the unlikely event of a breakdown, you get 24 hour priority service 365 days year.

Energy efficiency
The energy efficiency of a furnace is measured using an AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) rating. Typical older conventional furnaces have an AFUE of 60%, which means that 40% of the heat provided escapes up the chimney. The higher the AFUE rating, the less natural gas you will use, and the lower your heating bill will be.

Renting provides you with worry-free care and no up-front cost. However, we also offer the flexibility of financing or purchasing your furnace outright. For more information about purchasing a furnace, just call 905-450-0292
